What started out as a simple adventurer simply seeking his fortune out in the bigger world ended up as a tale of joy and despair, life and blood. Rinha Skypiercer (then C'rinha Tia) was a simple man who wanted to wander the world, free from restraints and rules, when his feet - or is it fate? - took him to the Twelveswood, where he first had his crystalline dream and heard the voice that would change the trajectory of his life forever. He took to being a hero with pride and enthusiasm at first; his youth and his skill making him feel like a king atop the world, but as deaths weighed him down, as betrayals cut through him and the loss of a beloved broke him, Rinha began to curse the title of hero and saw the mantle of being the Warrior of Light as a burden. Resentment and anger took his heart then. A tragic end to a "hero's" story.Rinha lived as a ghost of himself years after Haurchefant's death, cutting ties with the Scions, with everyone he knew. When an assassin came for him, he welcomed death like a friend, glad for the reprieve.Or at least, he thought he will finally have his rest-Until he woke up in Gridania, four years before his death. A few days before the Elder Seedseer asked him to join to join the Greenbliss festival as the Emissary.Until Rinha woke up back in the past, with his memory intact.Current Status
Having lived through harrowing trials, loss and heartbreak, Rinha doesn't feel too guilty passing on the torch of 'hero' to his Free Company's second in command; Novena Fortunato. He entrusts her with looking after the world, his hope for a peaceful future, and he withdraws almost completely from the world. The Scions of the Seventh Dawn, out of respect, are not privy to main location, and Unbound Haven are extremely protective of their leader, so seeking out Rinha by one's lonesome is night impossible to achieve. As of now, Rinha is helping the remnants of his old tribe rebuild and flourish in the uninhabited island the Great Wyrm of Thavnair gave to them. He's laid down the spear in favor of picking up tools to build and sow and harvest, and Rinha finds he enjoys the simple life more than ever. Waking up the sun, joining his tribe in working around the island, and then going home in the evening to his family. Compared to his life as a hero, the mundane life is perfection, and Rinha finally learns to heal.

The being known as "Novena" actually came from the lost shard of the Second Reflection. While "Novena's" body in the Second perished, their soul and that of their child did not; in fact their consciousness merely 'jumped to the next reflection, the Third. This process repeated several times; "Novena" and her child would consume the consume the consciousness of their shards in the Reflections they jump to, live out their lives, before tragedy falls and the process repeats all over again. This 'cannibalism' of their shards repeats until "Novena" finally wakes up in the source, in the body of 28-year-old Odilia Sommer, an Ishgardian Highlander who was part of the Holy See's Temple Knights."Was", because Odilia apparently slept with a heretic, and is know being hunted by the Church. Unbothered, Novena merely takes Odilia's full as her own, and flees, going as far east as she could go. She crossed the ocean in her true body - a gigantic voidsent-like creature. All was well until a great wyrm the color of moss and evergreen mauls her out of the air. After several hasty explanations and transforming back to her human shell, Novena begs mercy and sanctuary. While unsure, the great wyrm grants it, and allows Novena to seek sanctuary in Radz-At-Han.From then on, Novena Fortuna and her youngest child Michele Fortunato live in Radz-At-Han, serving as retainers and aides to the Satrap, and a guard to the Thavnairian populace.Current Status
Novena, as per Rinha's wish, now carries the torch - and the duties - as 'Warrior of Light'. This often takes her away from Thavnair, travelling to places in need of aid and protection. She takes her duties seriously, even if she bemoans the fact she isn't home as often; Rinha entrusted the world to her, and Novena wasn't about to add more broken vows to her already long list. Her recent adventures gave her the unique opportunity to travel to the Thirteenth Reflection with His Excellency Vrtra - in the combat variation of his simulacrum, Varshahn - and despite the danger, Novena and Vrtra grows closer and she finally learns more about the Great Wyrm she promised her body and sword to. A closeness she has yearned for (although unknowingly) ever since Vrtra spared her that day on that nameless beach.(Being given a lofty title of 'hero' and is no longer restricted to being a mere bodyguard, Novena plans to court Vrtra. She has yet to figure out how to do it, but she plans to.)
